Heavy Equipment Dry Ice Blasting Wisconsin

Professional, eco-friendly dry ice blasting by CryoBlast Technologies. Serving Milwaukee, Waukesha, and all of Wisconsin.

Heavy equipment in the construction and agricultural industries operates in some of the harshest conditions imaginable. Grease, hydraulic fluid, dirt, and environmental buildup accumulate rapidly, reducing performance, hiding potential problems, and making routine maintenance more difficult. CryoBlast Technologies provides professional heavy equipment dry ice blasting services across Wisconsin, cleaning machinery quickly and thoroughly without the problems associated with pressure washing or solvent cleaning.

Dry ice blasting is the preferred cleaning method for heavy equipment because it can be performed on-site, requires no disassembly, creates no wastewater runoff, and will not damage hydraulic lines, electrical connections, or painted surfaces. Our fully mobile setup — including our ColdJet PCS60 blasting machine and AirMan PDS185S diesel compressor — allows us to come directly to your job site, shop, or yard anywhere in Wisconsin.

Benefits

Why Choose Dry Ice Blasting

On-Site Mobile Service

Our fully mobile rig comes to your location — job sites, equipment yards, or shop facilities anywhere in Wisconsin.

No Wastewater Runoff

Unlike pressure washing, dry ice blasting creates zero wastewater. No containment, no environmental permits, no runoff to manage.

Clean Without Disassembly

Clean engines, hydraulic systems, and undercarriages in place. No need to disconnect hoses, remove panels, or strip components.

Faster Turnaround

Dry ice blasting cleans 3-10x faster than manual scrubbing or pressure washing, getting equipment back to work sooner.

The Process

How It Works

Heavy equipment cleaning with dry ice blasting follows the same fundamental process as any dry ice application, but with settings optimized for the thick, stubborn contaminants found on construction and agricultural machinery. We use higher blast pressures and larger pellet sizes to aggressively strip grease, caked mud, hydraulic fluid, and carbon deposits.

The dry ice pellets impact the contaminated surface at high velocity. The combination of kinetic energy and extreme thermal shock (-109°F) instantly breaks the bond between the contaminant and the metal surface. The CO₂ then sublimates — turning from solid directly to gas — creating a micro-explosion that lifts the debris away. The result is clean, dry equipment ready for inspection, maintenance, or operation.
